Queen Kake Brings Blog Back From Dead
Queen Kake and I were discussing how our blogs have been rather...uneventful as of late. She made me believe that maybe my blog wasn't dead?
She reminded me of good old times a camp, and posted this cute picture of us. (When WAS that? '98??). It got me thinking that even if I don't see all my friends every day, I can still READ about them online, and that's kinda like seeing them right? Blogging's fun! It's interactive! Caramba! (Sorry, I got carried away. I'm not even very good at Spanish so I'm not quite sure if that's a swear word or not). But the point is, that I guess just by sheer mutual will, that this, this right here, is proof that we can coax our blogs back to life?
We wondered if perhaps some pictures would spruce up the place. So with some phonecamèrashotz, I'M BACK TO TELL YOU WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO!!
First of all, I have to say it's been a beautiful fall. Hardly any snow.At the beginning of November, I took a Friday off work and went to Toronto. There I visited my little sister Ashley and walked around Toronto sight-seeing (I could walk there for hours). There was some excellent graffitti and street art to be seen:
On Sunday, following the tradition of Prince Charles and Camella, (who were there on Saturday), I went to the Royal Winter Fair and went to the Rodeo. Here's a picture of a horseman riding on the horse that the man on the ground just jumped off of when they switched mid gallop!
Other than that, I've been getting pretty intensely into Battlestar Galactica (almost finished Season III). Best quote:
Sharon (aka ceylon Sharon): How do you know that you can trust me?
Maj. Adama: I don't. That's what trust is.
and studying pretty hard for my Council for Continuing Pharmaceutical Education, not in that order of priority though...I swear, which I finish in January.
When I have time, I decorate my fridge:And if I still have extra time, I blog.
